High performance engineering at 'Solutions by Text' - Investments and Returns - Lessons from the trenches!

Abstract

This session will cover the journey of 'Solutions by Text' (SBT) has emerging as leading provider of complainant texting (SMS) solutions, helping enterprises engage with their customers in the most effective way. Three years ago, the company embarked on journey to expand its product portfolio, scale it's operations, and extend the reach.

All of this began with instilling sound engineering practices, towards becoming a High performing engineering team.

The talk will cover the journey, approach, learning and results so far, which has seen:

• Expanding the team,
• Handling 5X times more volumes and
• Bringing to life a brand-new platform that will power innovation & the growth engine for several years to come

This talk should be particularly helpful for anyone else embarking on a similar journey, in terms of what they should be ready to face and persevere.

A seasoned 'Technology Leader' with deep technical expertise, and astute business acumen. He has successfully set-up practices & C.O.Es. and directed complex technical programs for large corporations including several Fortune-100 enterprises.

In his current role as C.T.O at Solutions by Text, Shuaib is responsible for overseeing engineering and driving innovation. He's been instrumental in transforming the team to being a High performing engineering team.

Prior to the current company, he was Associate Director (Technology Architecture) at Accenture India.
